How to get here....
Details: Follow signs to Clearwater Beach (Hwy 60 West)... and prepare
for a thrill.
There's a new "round-a-bout" that you will have to negotiate to go
South on Coronado Blvd. It sometimes helps, to simply close your eyes and
steer "away" from the beeping horns. Unfortunately... If two people, simultaneously,
use this technique, it seems to become somewhat less effective. Since I
personally always close my eyes... perhaps it is better that you don't!
(If you want to learn how to negotiate our Roundabout.... click
here!... It's a big file because it's animated)
Go across the Clearwater Pass Bridge to Sand Key....Wave to the people at the Sheraton on your right...Wave to the people at the Marriott on your left.... Turn around.... You just passed The Grande... (We're opposite the Marriott .... You should have been looking... not waving!.)

An alternate route from Tampa Airport is to: Find I-275 and proceed
West (or South) toward St. Petersburg.... Go across Tampa Bay and take
the LARGO exit (SR-688)...
Follow signs to St.Petersburg/Clearwater Airport which will lead you
(past the Airport) to East Bay Drive (SR-686).... Follow East Bay and watch
it mysteriously turn into West Bay Drive....cross a little draw bridge
and you'll again be at the Gulf of Mexico...
Turn right and in about 2 miles you'll see a whole bunch of condominiums
(or condominia ?). The Grande is the last one on the left...
